About the position

We are looking for a talented Sales Development Representative to join our Toronto-based team. This is a remote-working position, but will operate through the Eastern-Pacific time zones selling into North America.

In this role you will:

• Contribute to developing strategic sales and marketing plans with the business development team;

• Develop and maintain business development relationships;

• Contribute to managing and developmenting our channel marketing and sales materials;

• Manage the outreach, communication and promotion of prospects to leads to customers and work with team members to secure licensing agreements, security services agreements, design wins and other important business development activities;

• Reaching out to prospects over various social media, telephone and email

• Provide product feedback to engineering teams; and

• Represent the company at key industry events.

Qualifications:

• Be able to pitch us at the first meeting on why we should buy the NXM product

• Present the sales process you are familiar with in an overview of your skills, what you are good at and what you want to grow in capabilities

• Have experience in several CRM tools

• Have experience in the cyber security industry and selling into the IOT, IIOT, OT and SCADA environments

• Active hands-on personality able to build a sales team under you over time

• Willing to actively sell and close deals on you own for the next 3 months

• Experience working with a tech startup

Compensation:

• CA$60,000/year, with a reward structure for qualifying leads, setting introductory discovery calls, and winning service contracts that would bring this up to $120,000/year (want to change this? Convince us to change it - we are open)

Senior Full Stack Developer Requirements:

In this role you will:

● Design and Develop blockchain-based Cloud Services that will be used by thousands of IoT device manufacturers and deployed on hundreds of millions of IoT devices

● Collaborate with cloud and firmware developers to define APIs along with reference applications

● Partner with our security team to define innovative approaches to device monitoring

● Build tests for your code to maintain a high standard of quality

● Seek out improvements to the platform and drive initiatives to implement them

● Participate in code reviews with other talented engineers

● Work with our world-class engineering team on integration testing and end-to-end problem solving

Qualifications

● Computer Science or Engineering degree is strongly preferred

● Minimum 5 years’ back-end development experience with proficiency in Java

● Experience with cloud services such as AWS, Azure or Google Cloud Platform

● Web Services using RESTful interface

● Web development experience including HTML5, JavaScript

● JavaScript frameworks such as React JS or Vue JS

● Experience in Android or iOS development (nice to have)

● Experience with pipeline tools such as Docker, BitBucket, Terraform and Hashicorp Vault

● Automate and continuously improve development and release processes for Cloud & Endpoints that will be used by thousands of IoT device makers & deployed on hundreds of millions of IoT devices

● Build & maintain DevOps process with CI/CD tools (e.g. Jenkin, Bitbucket, AWS CodeBuild, etc.)

● Support teams with repository and user access requests

● Monitor and maintain uptime, ensuring environments are available when needed

● Support deployment packages on internal and public facing repositories (e.g. Artifactory)

● Ensure that systems are safe and secure against cybersecurity threats

● Ensure appropriate project documentation is available for each new build or release

● Smoke testing builds for accuracy and completeness as part of build release management

● Industry exposure to embedded SDL & test automation with real IoT devices within CI/CD pipeline

● Strong and proven expertise with google repo manifest integrating and git hooks implementation

● Excellent team working and communication skills

● Experience with Hashicorp tools such as Terraform and Vault (nice to have)

● DevOps certification from AWS or Google or Microsoft (nice to have)
